Opportunity:
LEO Pharma, a well-established pharmaceutical company with a central focus on skin conditions, made a $65 million investment to put effort into “beyond the pill” solutions. They established a separate unit, the LEO Innovation Lab, to build digital solutions focusing on people living with psoriasis. A key area they wanted to address (which medication-only treatment overlooks) was diet. -
We revolutionized digital nutritional advice with a chat-based program - No more bland, generic diets, we offered personalized nutrition plans that catered to our user's unique needs! A 12-week program combined the latest in AI technology, automated flows, and expert human guidance to deliver daily encouragement, meal analysis, challenges, and inspiring tips straight to their phone. Say no to costly 1:1 consultations and embrace a program rooted in the anti-inflammatory principles of the Mediterranean diet, at a fraction of the cost.

As the visionary behind Treat, I was tasked with leading the charge and driving the project to success. My role was multi-faceted, encompassing the management of both the product and marketing teams, as well as steering the ship and keeping all corporate stakeholders on track. But what I cherished the most was crafting the design strategy and bringing it to life, elevating the Treat experience for our users.

The result
With Treat, we transformed the way our clients approached their diets. By emphasizing healthy fats, proteins, and reducing carbohydrates, we saw an incredible impact on their conditions. 52% of our users reported moderate to significant reductions in their symptoms, and for many, conditions such as Psoriasis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and Graves Disease were stabilized, leading to a reduction in their need for medication.
